Component Description
Oiling System Kit Combines all necessary components to enhance the T/C® engine's oiling system.
Performance Benefits Increases oil pressure, oil volume, engine oil flow, and return oil scavenging. Eliminates wet sumping and oily air cleaners. Test results show 25-35° cooler engine temperatures, 15-30° cooler oil temperatures, and 15-30 more lbs of oil pressure.
Engine Operation Results in quieter, smoother engine operation, with a substantial increase of 3 horsepower and 4 ft/lbs. of torque to the rear wheel.
Oil Pump Billet 7075 aluminum oil pump is 50% harder and stronger than the factory pump, holding tighter tolerances under temperature.
Hydraulic Lifters Includes full-travel hydraulic lifters designed for heavy valve spring pressures, with a full .200” of total travel to increase engine RPM before valve float.
Travel Reduction Reduces the amount of oil required to fill the lifter, decreasing oil aeration on steep, fast-action high lift camshaft lobes.
Compatibility Note '99-'01 models with Magneti Marelli ignition require rear cam sprocket.
